    1. I’d prefer to use the INDUCTIVE METHOD in teaching. This focuses more towards our learners. As teachers we only facilitate their abilities and we are the one who made rules. With this the students are more participating in the lectures because we begin our lesson with specific details, examples and the things they know.

How is a demonstration method works? What are the good points new teachers get from demonstration method?

    2. The Demonstration method is one where the student observes the portrayal of a procedure, technique, or operation. It shows how to do something or how something is being done. It is used when someone needs to train or even refresh the knowledge in some areas. New teachers would learn how to be precise, have a good timing and using their instruments right. Possible wastage of time, effort and resources will be avoided since the demonstration is planned and prepared in advance. ♥

  2. 1. Both teaching method are valuable for teaching process and skills. For me, as a new teacher I rather to choose both but it also depends on my assessment with my students. If they can reach the expectations of Inductive method I rather choose that method but If i saw my students are having a hard time to deal with this kind of method I rather choose the other way "Deductive Method". Important is, they learn from me and understand what they need to know and understand.

    2. Demonstration method is a step by step procedure while explaining and the reason and significance of each step. How does it works? As a demonstrator, you have to assure and show the proper sequence plus including all the steps. The good points of demonstration method in the new teachers,it also trains them to use their skills in managing things while explaining and it helps them to be more prepared and master their lesson proper. =)

  3. 1. We are living in the world where everyone has the right to speak what they want to say so it is safe to say that a combination of both would be a great method for adjusting teachers. Nowadays, teachers are not the only who have the right to talk in class. Students are allowed to share what are in their minds. They can agree and also disagree if they want. Having interactions in class is not to cause a commotion moreover it is an example of a positive learning environment which is I think is also necessary for the students to learn. Learning is a cycle. Ideas should flow. It is a give and take process where both ends should receive information. Not only is that, letting the students “experience” learning another affirmative approach to learn.

    2. Demonstration Method is a learning activity performed by selected students and the teacher. It is a process of teaching through examples and experiments. Basically, the teacher and the selected students perform the experiment in class while explaining what they are doing. Everything should be planned, materials are well-prepared even the performers. They should also consider the observers. The duration of time is also important not only for the experiment but also for the observers. After the experiment, discussion and assessment are also necessary. Demonstration Method has its advantages. First, it is a systematic procedure. Meaning, students are being taught to be more organized as well as the time management being practiced. For the teachers, this technique is not handful because students helped as well. They get the interest of the students since it is a different approach.

  4. 1. As a new teacher adjusting yourself to the needs ,abilities and interests of your
learners which method would you prefer in your teaching, deductive or
    inductive method? Why?

I guess the method to be applied depends on the educational level of the students. If I’m going to teach the elementary students, I guess it is best to provide them the foundation first, provide as much information to the students and then slowly teach them on how to analyze the information starting with the easiest subject matter.

    2. How is a demonstration method works? What are the good points new teachers
    get from demonstration method?

Demonstration is a method of teaching that involves showing the students a model performance using a live or recorded/filmed presentation that he/she must be able to replicate or performed afterwards. It helps to raise the students’ interest at the same time reinforce memory retention because they provide connections between facts and real-world applications of those facts unlike lectures which are often geared towards factual presentation than connective learning.

  5. 1. Though I am more on inductive, as a new teacher, I think I would first prefer to teach using deductive method. Because teaching is more traditional, I think it will be easier for me to adjust and be more familiar with my students’ interest and needs. Because in deductive teaching the teacher normally provides the information to the students through lectures, sharing or teaches students the skill, then allow the students to practice that skill being taught. Though this is more teacher-centered, this method would allow new teacher like me to save and maximize time because lessons are taught straight to the point.

    2. Demonstration method is a method of teaching that relies heavily upon showing the students a performance live, filmed or electronically operated that would make them easily understand a particular skill or procedures in a task. The advantages of this method for new teachers are that it gives them convenience. Mainly because the techniques for teaching skills are presented in steps and because the students are usually the one who will personally perform the demonstration.

  6. 1. I would be incorporating both methods to teach my students. However, as an adjusting teacher I prefer to use the inductive method. Why? For the reason I use inductive method to simply gauge my students knowledge, interests, and style of learning. This will make as a path for me to follow for what strategy I should be utilizing and to know which would be more effective. Teacher’s has their own style, on which there are comfortable of, but we need also to consider the impact of our lessons to our students. We need not only to aim for them to just have the knowledge, but to the want to know more as what inductive tends to teach students. It lets you think deeper and broader, out of the box. Because learning never stops.
    2. Demonstration method is a procedure of teaching under a supervision of a professional. One of the suggested course of preservice teachers are handling a class, having the experience on the reality, this gives them a clear picture of what needs to be taught. Demonstration is more effective because several stimuli for our senses are being used, hence, increase retention or mastery and level of understanding.

  7. 3. Both deductive and inductive methods of learning are valuable for teaching concepts, generalizations, processes, and skills. As a new teacher, I believe in using BOTH methods. And choosing which to use would depend on the desired learning outcome and the composition of the class. Inductive method would help me know the depth of understanding and the rate of retention my students have. While deductive method could help me be efficient when teaching concrete concepts or numerous facts.

    4. The Demonstration method is one of the most effective teaching methods because of its visual impact. In this method, the teacher portrays to the student a procedure, technique, or operation. She shows the students how to do something or how something works, and the students learn mental or physical skills by performing these skills under her supervision. Using the demonstration method helps new teachers be confident in their lesson since they are already following a set of procedures. In the long run, this also helps them in the mastery of the said procedure or skills.

  8. 1. As a new teacher adjusting in teaching, I prefer deductive and inductive method.
The deductive approach is teacher dominated. It begins with the abstract rule, generalization, principles and ends with specific examples and concrete details.

Inductive method is less teacher-directed than the deducted method. It begins with specific details, concrete data and examples and ends with an abstract generalization rule, or principle.

    2. The demonstration method is teacher dominated. The teacher shows how to operate, manipulate all equipment while the class observed.
It is the learning activity which is performed by a student, a group of 3 or 4 members or the teacher while the rest become observers. This approach is employed in presenting lessons that are sophisticated equipment and technical know-how. Materials that are not easily expensive are used sparingly in a demonstration.

  9. 1. As a new teacher adjusting yourself to the needs , abilities and interests of your
learners which method would you prefer in your teaching, deductive or
    inductive method? Why?

As a new teacher or as a beginner it is more advisable for me to use Deductive teaching methods because it is a more traditional form of teaching. Deductive teaching it is typically provide information (lecture), share specific examples of the concept or skill being taught, then, allow students to practice the skill being taught. This is a more teacher-centered model of teaching that is rule driven. Some of the positives of this method are that it is time saving and gets to the point of the lesson easily.

    2. How is a demonstration method works? What are the good points new teachers
    get from demonstration method?

Teacher explains and demonstrates the activity at the same time. It also involves specific use of modeling, presentation and introduction of new skills such as manipulative skills.
The Demonstration method is one where the student observes the portrayal of a procedure, technique, or operation. The demonstration method shows how to do something or how something works. The teacher in demonstration method should be very careful in presentation of the topic. He must also be very clear and specific in the expression of talking the individual differences of the class into consideration.

What are the good points new teachers get from demonstration method?

Pupils carry their work according to their abilities, their own time in the atmosphere of civics room.He can work independently at his choice period. There is scope for finding out things for himself.
